USAT Liberty Shipwreck

Our number 1 dive-site in Tulamben. This historical wreck from World War II is 126 meters long. It’s full of corals and marine wildlife with some interesting swim-throughs.
It’s one of the most accessible wrecks in the world right at the beach and perfect to do spectacular nightdives.
The USAT Liberty was torpedoed in 1942 by a Japanese submarine. Americans and Dutch tried to bring it to Singaraja for repairs, but it made too much water in front of Tulamben. They beached the wreck, but it was pushed back into the ocean in 1963 by lava due to an eruption of Mt. Agung.
Marine life: bigeye trevally (or jackfish), angelfish, sweetlips, clownfish, surgeonfish, leaf scorpion fish, nudibranches, barracuda’s, turtles
Coral Garden

Depth 3 – 25 meters

The Coral Garden is a dive-site with natural corals, statues and an artificial reef to revive young corals. It’s perfect for beginners to practice their first skills or snorkelers to enjoy the colorful shallow corals. For experienced it’s a perfect spot for photography and macro spotting.
Marine life: clownfish, ribbon eels, leaf scorpion fish, nudibranches, unicorn fish, barracuda’s.
Drop Off

Depth 3 – 70 meters

The Drop Off is an impressive wall formed by lava full of corals and marine wildlife. Here you can find a giant gorgonian fan and an electric clam. The corals on the plateau are also impressive and home to many creatures. From the entrance on the beach it’s a small swim to the start of the wall.
Marine life: electric clam, nudibranches, lion fish, scorpion fish, puffer fish, turtle.
Boga Wreck
Level experienced
Depth 18 - 35 meters
Entry shore / beach (rocky)
The Boga Wreck is the second wreck situated in Kubu. It's sunk intensionally in 2012 and it's 45 meters long. It's standing straight on the bottom and it's perfect to train your wreck skills, as you can go inside.
Marine life: lion fish, scorpion fish, barracuda's, leaf scorpionfish.
